Since mid-July 2022, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has been transmitting images to Earth. This allows us to see not only distant galaxies or nebulae, but also the outer planets Uranus and Neptune with their rings in unprecedented sharpness. But the JWST also examines the atmosphere of exoplanets, i.e. satellites of other stars, to find evidence of possible life.
Let yourself be seduced by the beautiful images of the JWST and also learn a lot of background information about the history and structure of the JWST as well as the research results to date.
